Following the critical and public success of 'The Anatomy of a Moment' at the last San Sebastián Film Festival, on Saturday 18 October the series was screened in the Freestyle Serie section of the Rome Film Festival, where it was very well received by the audience, being the only Spanish television drama present. In attendance were director and screenwriter Alberto Rodríguez, producer José Manuel Lorenzo (DLO Producciones) and the director of Fiction and Partnerships at Movistar Plus+, Jorge Pezzi. 'The Anatomy of a Moment' will also open the Serielizados Festival in Barcelona on Monday 3 November with the screening of its first two episodes and the presence of Álvaro Morte, Eduard Fernández, Miki Esparbé and Alberto Rodríguez.

Synopsis 'The Anatomy of a Moment'
Based on the 23-F coup d'état that took place in Spain on February 23, 1981, ‘The Anatomy of a Moment’ dissects one of the crucial moments in recent Spanish history: the Transition. When Civil Guard Lieutenant Colonel Antonio Tejero entered the Congress building with a pistol in his hand, only three men remained seated while the rest ducked for cover: Adolfo Suárez, Santiago Carrillo and Gutiérrez Mellado.
Through these three men who led the transition to democracy and the three main leaders of the coup d'état, Tejero, Milans and Armada, the series recounts the chain of events and tensions that led Spain to the brink of a return to the previous military regime. Based on the book by Javier Cercas, which has been called “one of the major works of literature in the Spanish language of our time”.
