Movistar Plus+ International, the distribution division of the Movistar Plus+ platform, presented on Tuesday 30 September, as part of the fifth edition of Iberseries & Platino Industria, the various sales and co-production agreements that represent a success in the international journey of Movistar Plus+'s original fiction titles.
Movistar Plus+ International was created in 2022 with the aim of boosting the international distribution of all the platform's original productions, as well as signing co-production agreements with relevant international partners to help carry out more ambitious projects designed to reach a global audience that demands stories with the Spanish seal of quality.
Agreement with ARTE France
The European cultural channel ARTE France has become one of the major partners of original fiction series, having recently confirmed its participation in the series 'Killing a Bear', currently in production. Created by brothers Jorge and Alberto Sánchez-Cabezudo, it stars Eduard Fernández, María Rodríguez Soto, Miki Esparbé, Pol López, Nora Navas and Àlex Monner. See more.
ARTE France is also a prominent partner in the production of 'The Anatomy of a moment', the new series by Alberto Rodríguez that premieres in Spain on 20 November, starring Álvaro Morte, Eduard Fernández and Manolo Solo. See more.
ARTE France will premiere Rodrigo Sorogoyen's 'The New Years' in November, adding to its offering of original Movistar Plus+ titles 'La Mesías' and 'Querer', which have achieved significant audience success.
Distribution in Latin America
The prestige of Disney+ accompanies two original Movistar Plus+ titles that can be seen in all Latin American territories where the global giant operates. The series 'The Nameless', created by Pau Freixas and Pol Cortecans, starring Miren Ibarguren, Rodrigo de la Serna and Milena Smit, premiered on 10 September under an agreement between Movistar Plus+ International and Gloriamundi Producciones. In addition, Disney+ also offers the series 'Marbella', created by Dani de la Torre and Alberto Marini and starring Hugo Silva.
Through the Flow TV and streaming service, available in Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay, its customers can watch the original Movistar Plus+ series 'Galgos', 'Querer' and 'Second Death'.

RaiPlay (Italy) - Rodrigo Sorogoyen's series 'The New Years' has premiered to great success.

Cinobo (Greece) - The high-quality film streaming platform offers its customers the series 'Riot Police', 'Offworld', 'La Canción', 'The New Years' and 'Querer'.
NOS Lusomundo (Portugal) - It has acquired the rights to the series 'La Mesías', 'The New Years', 'Marbella' and 'Querer'.
My Movies One (Italy) - Italy's leading film streaming service has the series 'La Mesías' in its catalogue.
LRT (Lithuania) - The Baltic country's public broadcaster has acquired the rights to the series 'La Mesías'.
TRT (Turkey) - The Turkish Radio and Television Corporation offers the series 'Riot Police', 'Offworld', 'The Left-Handed Son' and 'Hierro' (two seasons).
Distribution in Asia
The Asian market, historically impervious to European audiovisual content, has been a major challenge that has been overcome with a landmark agreement reached with LG, the leading technology company also in content distribution.
LG (South Korea): The streaming service now has the series 'Riot Police', 'Offworld', 'Fine Arts', 'The Left-Handed Son', 'Galgos', 'Hierro' (two seasons), 'La Mesías' and 'Out of Tone' (two seasons) in its catalogue.
